1. Fill a sink, tub, or basin with warm water, then immerse the mouse pad.
2. Apply a small amount of dish soap or shampoo directly onto the mouse pad, then scrub it gently with a sponge. Alternatively, lather the soap on the sponge before scrubbing.
3. For tougher stains or oils, use a brush to delicately remove them. Avoid using hard-bristle brushes or wire sponges to prevent damage to the mouse pad.
4. Thoroughly rinse the mouse pad to ensure no soap residue remains.
